We coat every rod with a triple coat of UV protected finish to make your rod last longer.  Have the confidence to fish it under harsh conditions.  It will fish and look the same.

On all of our two-piece rods, you can be assured that both pieces come from the same blank.  Other manufactures build bases and tips from whatever is available creating an inconsistent product.  At CastAway you get only the finest!

All CastAway rods are spined so your rod does not twist at the tip.  Have you ever had a rod break from a big fish?  Most likely it’s because it was not spined.  It’s amazing how much more power and durability you will get out of CastAway rods.

Every blank is put through a rigorous flex test inspection to ensure there are no visible defects. 

We build most of our Tiple S Series rods with Titanium Flex guides.  Have you ever broken a ceramic insert?  Frustrating isn’t it?  You simply cannot break these guides; even if you bend them to the blank they will spring right back into action.  These guides make the already light rod lighter and increase the sensitivity to the point where you can feel everything that is happening at the end of your line from seaweed to ultra light bites.

The Unique process that make CastAway Stronger and More Reliable.   We coat every rod with a triple coat of UV protected finish for preventative break down.   We coat behind every guide for a stronger hold in keeping the guides straight and from corrosion getting behind the thread.   Every rod is spined so the blank will not twist at the tip, allowing each hook set to have the power and response expected when fishing for that trophy.   Each blank is put through a rigorous flex test inspection to ensure there are no visible defects.   Following the build process each CastAway rod is put through a final inspection to provide the angler with a tool that will enhance each fishing experience. How To Choose Your CastAway Rod Action and Power Action and power, when used in connection with fishing rods, are often misused. Action is simply put, the way a rod or blank bends. This is described by four different terms: Extra Fast: Flex in the upper 1/4 of the rod blank. Fast: Flex in the upper 1/3 of the rod blank. Moderate: Flex in the upper 1/2 of the rod blank. Slow: Flex is from the lower 1/3 of the rod blank. Power is best described as the amount of energy or force that is needed to make a rod blank bend. CastAway uses the following power ratings to rate its rods. Power Rating Power 1 Ultralight Power 2 Light Power 3 Medium Light Power 4 Medium Power 5 Medium Heavy Power 6 Heavy Power 7 Extra Heavy   Cork fits snug to the blank without tape to reduce the excess epoxy for a better feel in your hand and an overall weight reduction for those really long days on the water. CastAway still uses top quality Titanium Fuji Guides on many of our high end rods. This allows fishermen a unique difference in durability and sensitivity over the standard steel guides in the market place today. All of our casting rods utilize the Fuji Exposed Reel Seats for better feel when chasing your specific game fish. CastAway's Innovative Hook Keeper allows you to store your bait right on the rod.
